Bio of Dr. Mark Sehl

Dr. Sehl currenetly has a private practice working with couples, individuals, and groups as well as conducting private training groups with a focus on effective psychotherapy interventions working with the "difficult" patient, teaching Harm Reduction and Abstinence based treatment of Substance Use, interventions that avoid premature termination, and other topics.

COMMUNITY WORK

Grief Counseling for the corporation Imagine Software following the aftermath of the 9/11 attack. Dr. Sehl facilitated a group of 60 employees and their managers, and provided counseling to staff members

Dr. Sehl was a grief counselor at the Aaliyah Memorial at Cipriano's. Aaliyah, a promising R&B singer-actress, died a tragic death at the age of 22 in an airplane crash. Aaliyah recorded "One in a Million" and was cast in Romeo Must Die.

Volunteer for Special Olympics - a world wide organization for people with intellectual disabilities.
